London

The day before new years eve we flew from Rygge airport to Stansted airport to celebrate and spend new years with Steve and Jaimé in London. When arriving at Edith Road our host had prepared a very nice lunch (cheese and crackers, and homemade pizza).

Later Steve and Jaimé took us to Southwark (close to London Bridge) for some sightseeing and beers at Horniman at Hays which is close to the Thames. After that we took the tube to Angel where we had dinner at a tapas restaurant.

The next morning, after a late breakfast, we went for a sightseeing, shopping and cappuccino at Kensington.

Time to celebrate: for new year eve dinner we went to the Oxo Restaurant and Brasserie for a very nice dinner and party.























On new years day we went to Windsor Castle to show us where and how the queen lives. In the afternoon we checked-in at The May Fair Hotel before meeting Steve and Jaimé again to have dinner at Hare & Tortoise in Kensington.

On our last day in London we went to the British museum to see the egyptian exhibition and especially the Rosetta stone.
